Chief Guests The program was graced by Shri Srinivas garu, Circle Inspector, Mamnoor, and Shri Srikanth garu, Sub-Inspector, Mamnoor,
who addressed the students on recent trends in cybercrime and the vital role of youth in prevention. Program HighlightsThe speakers explained common types of digital fraud such as phishing, OTP frauds, UPI and social media scams, and stressed safe online practices including strong passwords, verification of links, and cautious financial transactions.
Students were guided on how to report cyber incidents through local police, cybercrime portals, and helplines, reinforcing the importance of timely reporting and digital responsibility.
Participation and Outcomes
A large number of B.Tech I Year students actively participated, interacted with the officers, and clarified doubts through a Q&A session.
The session enhanced students’ awareness of digital fraud risks and equipped them with practical steps to protect themselves and their families in the online environment.
