The Vaagdevi College of Engineering is an academic community of students, faculty, and staff involved in educating the engineers of tomorrow and advancing the frontiers of science and technology through research and discovery. By viewing the engineering profession as a service to humanity, the college helps students become responsible, effective members of society.

Our faculty and researchers are at the forefront of creating new knowledge that is integral to societal sustainability. Our thematic research in Energy, Water, Environment, Healthcare, and Supply Chain is underpinned by our fundamental strength in advanced materials, manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence, and information and communications technologies.

Our students, throughout their academic journey, are driven by the curiosity to engineer holistic solutions through teamwork and they exhibit tremendous creativity in freshman design, innovation and entrepreneurship, and capstone projects. Graduate students work at the leading edge of innovation in many exciting fields across the various engineering disciplines, and their achievements are underpinned by our state-of-the-art research environment.
