The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Bollikunta, Warangal, organized an industrial visit to ISRO – Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR), Sriharikota, for III Year B.Tech ECE students on 28 January 2026 under the ISTE Students Chapter. A total of 35 students and 4 faculty members participated in the visit, which was coordinated by Dr. Asiya Sulthana, ISTE Coordinator, under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. V. Sudheer Raja.

During the visit, students gained valuable exposure to mission control operations, launch pads, rocket launch processes, and safety systems associated with PSLV, GSLV, and LVM3 launch vehicles. The interaction with ISRO scientists enhanced students’ understanding of real-time aerospace applications of ECE concepts and created awareness about career opportunities, internships, and higher studies in the space sector. The visit was academically enriching and significantly contributed to experiential learning and industry–academia interaction.
