“AI and Innovation Sprints: Rapid Prototyping for Digital Transformation”
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), Vaagdevi College of Engineering (Autonomous), organized an Expert Talk on “AI and Innovation Sprints: Rapid Prototyping for Digital Transformation” in association with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC).
The session was designed to provide students with practical insights into how Artificial Intelligence and innovation sprints can accelerate product development, enhance problem-solving capabilities, and enable rapid prototyping in real-world digital transformation projects.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Mallarapu Yaswanth, Instructor at SITER Academy, Norway, and Innovation Ambassador at IIC VCE. He shared valuable perspectives on agile innovation methodologies, AI-driven solution design, and the importance of structured sprint-based development cycles in today’s technology-driven ecosystem.
During the session, students were introduced to:
- Fundamentals of AI-driven innovation
- Concept and framework of innovation sprints
- Rapid prototyping techniques
- Real-world case studies on digital transformation
- Industry expectations from AI & ML graduates
The talk emphasized bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by encouraging students to adopt innovation-oriented thinking and practical implementation strategies.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. Prakash, Principal, with Dr. Thanveer Jahan, HoD – CSE (AI & ML), Convener, and coordinated by Dr. Swetha Arra, Department of CSE (AI & ML).
