The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) 8.0 Calendar Activity, organized a program on “Career Pathways in Science” in celebration of National Science Day on 28 February 2026.

The session aimed to create awareness among students about the diverse career opportunities available in science and technology and to inspire them to explore innovation, research, and scientific thinking.

The program featured Mr. Narendra Tappa, General Manager – HR, Meduarsity Company, as the Resource Person, who shared valuable insights on industry expectations, emerging career opportunities in science, and the importance of innovation and continuous learning for professional growth.

As part of the celebration, the department also organized a Science Expo, where students actively participated by presenting innovative models and science-based projects. The expo provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, practical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities through various scientific demonstrations and project displays.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. Prakash, Principal, and Dr. N. Satyavathi, Head of the Department, CSE. The activity was coordinated by Dr. A. Swetha and Dr. Rekha Devi, whose efforts ensured the successful organization of both the session and the Science Expo.

The program was highly engaging and informative, encouraging students to develop scientific curiosity, innovation skills, and interest in science-driven careers.
