A one-day Intellectual Property (IP) Awareness Workshop was successfully conducted on 24th March 2026 at the West Block Auditorium, Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Bollikunta – Warangal. The event was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of MSME and the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) cell, and funded by the MSME, Government of India.
The workshop witnessed the active participation of 100+ attendees from diverse backgrounds, including students, researchers, MSMEs, startups, and local entrepreneurs. The primary objective of the session was to demystify intellectual property rights, offering practical insights into IP filing procedures, protection strategies, and commercialization of innovations.
The session was led by Mr. Srinivas Maddipati, President of the Educational Society for Intellectual Property Rights (ESIPR), who served as the resource person. He provided in-depth knowledge on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and the importance of safeguarding innovative ideas in today’s competitive landscape.
