The IEEE Vaagdevi College of Engineering Student Branch (IEEE VCE SB) in collaboration with the IEEE Vaagdevi Engineering College Student Branch (IEEE VEC SB) and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) organized a special program titled “Give to Gain” in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026 on 11 March 2026.

The event aimed to recognize the contributions of women in science, technology, healthcare, and leadership while encouraging students to embrace the values of empowerment, knowledge sharing, and community contribution.

The program featured distinguished guest speakers who shared their professional experiences and insights. Dr. Santhi Sree Basavaraju, Scientist G and Group Head – Data Product Evaluation at the National Remote Sensing Centre (ISRO), addressed the students and spoke about the role of women in scientific research, innovation, and space technology.

Another guest speaker, Dr. Sushma Priyanka Tangella, Emergency Physician at Medicover Hospitals, Warangal, shared valuable perspectives on healthcare service, dedication, and the importance of compassion and commitment in the medical profession.

The event was held at the West Block, 1st Floor Auditorium, Vaagdevi Colleges, Bollikunta, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.

The session served as an inspiring platform that highlighted the achievements of women professionals and motivated students to pursue their goals with confidence, dedication, and a spirit of service.
